How to disable the Password Practice feature?
Password Practice is a security feature designed to help you remember your vault password and ensure you never lose access to your two-factor authentication (2FA) codes. Since many users rely on Face ID or Touch ID, this feature occasionally asks you to confirm your password so you can always access your encrypted data when needed.
If you prefer to disable Password Practice, here’s how:
Open the Authenticator App on your device.
Go to Settings.
Select the Security section.
Use Face ID, Touch ID, or your password to access Security settings.
Find the Password Practice option.
Toggle the feature OFF.
Confirm your choice when prompted.
Once disabled, you won’t receive password reminders anymore.
❗IMPORTANT: We recommend only disabling Password Practice if your password is stored somewhere safe, like a password manager. Biometrics (like Face ID or Touch ID) can sometimes fail, and you’ll need your password to access your accounts.
