We created Authenticator App by 2Stable to help you manage and protect your two-factor authentication (2FA) codes in one secure place - while keeping your privacy fully protected.


1. Your data stays private and encrypted

All your authentication codes are stored safely and end-to-end encrypted.
Your data is encrypted locally on your device by the app, and you can choose whether to keep it stored only on your device or synchronized securely through your private iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit technology.
Only you have access to your data - not even we can read or decrypt it.


2. No personal tracking or ads

We don’t sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites.
The app works completely without user accounts - everything stays private, either on your device or in your iCloud, depending on your settings.


3. Anonymous analytics, crash reports, and subscriptions

To understand how the app is used, manage subscriptions, and improve reliability, we collect anonymous usage and technical data.

When you first install the app, a random anonymous ID is generated.
This ID helps us group anonymous reports together (for example, crashes, purchases, or feature usage) without ever knowing who you are.

Purchases made through the App Store are linked to your Apple ID for billing purposes, but this information is handled entirely by Apple.
We never have access to your Apple ID, name, email, or any personal details associated with your App Store account.

We use a few trusted services to help us operate and improve the app:

  • Sentry.io – for crash reporting and technical error diagnostics.
  • RevenueCat – to process in-app purchases and subscriptions, and to verify entitlement status.

These services do not have access to your authentication codes or any private information stored on your device or in iCloud.
All collected data is anonymized and used only to maintain functionality and improve the app’s experience.
Data collected by these services is retained according to their own privacy policies and data retention practices.


4. Contacting support

If you contact us for help, you can choose to include your anonymous ID in your message.
This helps us find related reports and provide better assistance.

We only collect the information that you choose to share with us, such as your email address, device details, or a description of the issue.
This information is used solely for providing support and improving your experience.
We do not sell, share, or use this data for any other purpose.


5. You stay in control

You can delete the app at any time.
Your encrypted data remains safely stored on your device, or in your iCloud account if synchronization was enabled.

Before deleting the app, make sure to back up or transfer your 2FA accounts if needed, as deleting the app may remove your access to stored authentication codes.

If you want to remove the stored data itself, you can do it through your iCloud storage settings (if sync was enabled) or by deleting it from inside the app before uninstalling.


6. No warranties

We offer our app and services “as is”, without any warranties or guarantees of any kind.
While we do our best to provide a reliable and secure experience, we cannot guarantee that the app will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all systems.


7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make important changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
We encourage you to review it occasionally to stay informed.
